But here's where it gets controversial... Aaja Chemnitz, a Greenlandic MP in the Danish parliament, has called the US comments a "clear threat," highlighting the disrespect of not ruling out annexing a fellow NATO ally. Greenland, a sparsely populated territory, holds strategic significance for the US due to its location between North America and the Arctic, serving as a vital early warning system for potential missile attacks.
