On February 28, six wrestlers battled for the chance to face WWE Undisputed Champion Drew McIntyre. As the match progressed, only Orton and Rhodes remained, their friendship a backdrop to the intense competition. McIntyre, in a desperate move, interfered, attacking Rhodes to prevent him from winning. However, Orton, known as the Apex Predator, saw an opportunity and struck with an RKO, pinning Rhodes for the win.
